+ First Friday Holy Hour of Adoration, February 3, 7pm at St. John’s!
This event will be Friday evening, February 3rd at 7pm at St. John’s in the church. The evening will begin with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Father Nagel, followed by a testimonial from former NFL player and Super Bowl champion, Chris Godfrey entitled “Catholic Touchdowns for Life Eternal.” The evening will conclude with the rest of the holy hour, praise and worship music, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament with Father Nagel.

Chris Godfrey
Chris Godfrey is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School where he taught Sports and Entertainment Law, and served as an intern for the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General. He is a member of the Indiana Bar and member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys.
Prior to his legal career Chris played nine years of professional football. As the starting right guard for the Super Bowl XXI champion New York Giants in 1987, he earned honors as All-Pro NFL Films, and All-NFC (AP, UPI). He was also a member of three Rose Bowl teams with the University of Michigan.
He is the founder and president of Life Athletes, Inc., an association of over 300 professional and Olympic athletes who teach and inspire young people to live lives of virtue, abstinence, and respect for life, www.lifeathletes.org. Chris is the author of the popular curriculums, That’s Where I Live: A Guide To Good Relationships, and See I Make All Things New. He is a frequent contributor to the National Catholic Educators Association and past president of the St. Joseph’s High School Board where he also coaches football.
He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and currently serves as the Northern Indiana Chair for the Order of Malta.
He resides in South Bend, Indiana with his wife Daria and their six children.
